Car and Van rental in Troyes Gare
Troyes has a vibrant centre with a fine selection of half-timbered houses that stand alongside Gothic churches. The city isn't too touristy and is one of the best places to get a feeling for what France was like several hundred years ago. In fact, there are a couple of unique museums that are well worth a visit for those interested in history. Although the city is in the Champagne region and well located between Paris, Reims, Nancy and Dijon, it doesn't actually have any Champagne cellars, but is well known for its outlet stores that sell fashionable clothing and accessories. Indeed, the city was once the knitwear centre of France! The Enterprise branch is centrally located at Troyes train station, in Porte Sainte-Marie. If you're arriving by train, this is the ideal place to collect your hire vehicle.

Parking and Traffic Information in Troyes
The road network in Troyes is excellent and there's also a ring road (D610), which allows drivers to bypass the built-up area and access the suburbs. Apart from occasional slow traffic at the A5-D661 interchange at Torvilliers, there are no perennial traffic jams to report. Driving in the city centre is slightly more complicated, although, with the help of a satnav or a paper map, first-time drivers won't experience undue difficulties.
