Cheltenham is a fashionable spa town on the edge of the Cotswolds, in Gloucestershire. When you hire a car from Enterprise Rent-A-Car in central Cheltenham, you can easily explore quaint Cotswolds villages. Other places to visit in your hire car include Cleeve Hill for stunning views and walks, and the 15th century Studley Castle near Winchcombe. In Cheltenham itself, park up and admire the Regency architecture. Visit the trendy Montpelier district and stroll past the famous Cheltenham Ladies College. Of course, there's the racecourse, where many events take place throughout the year. Cheltenham is very close to the M5 motorway, therefore easily accessible from South West and North West England. Since the M5 connects to other major motorways, such as the M42 and the M6, it's easy to get anywhere in the UK when you hire from Enterprise. The Enterprise branch is near The Brewery, on the A419. From here, it's easy to access the whole of Cheltenham and beyond. Cheltenham has a railway station about a mile to the west of the town centre, as well as a central bus station.

Driving Information in Cheltenham

As a fairly small town, Cheltenham is easy to navigate and well signposted. The town has one-way systems around much of the centre, but this helps the traffic flow and you shouldn’t encounter any major delays. You can easily access the M5 in about 10 minutes at Junctions 10, 11 and 11a. Parking in town is plentiful, with both on-street parking and several public car parks, e.g. the NCP at the Brewery.
